When Qantas started building its 1st class lounge at the Sydney airport, their designer Marc Newson Limited and associates did not take any details lightly; they look for the best among the best. Eigen’s Tactile Ground Surface Indicator system was chosen for its elegant look and its unique patented O-ring stem (Patent No.: 2006101003) – a system that provides a superb anchoring mechanism that most other systems failed to deliver, Fig. 1.
